Concur, my 3in catless shakes the house on cold start.

+1^ Definitely, much louder than stock. Audiometry test, perhaps? PS: Loud pipes rule.

I guess I better get used to pushing in my clutch pedal when passing a CHP...

California absolutely sucks. Don’t worry, soon you will have to give up your 997 to fund unfortunate souls in that wonderful state. The Governor looks like a real gem,

They'll likely be the first state to go EV sales only, it's just a matter of time. You could imagine a scenario where petrol fuel stations start to disappear and older 911's start to get EV upgrades...

Easy does it on Cali. I'm a 60 yr native and wouldn't live anywhere else. So, how about we compare weather today w Mid West ?

It's so cold, you can't drive your car,, so no worries about how loud your exhaust is 😎 ! J/K folks, no diss to my homies in Chi-town, hope you all get thru it OK.

The big issue is that there are very few cat back systems that are worth buying for TT's as the cat is prob the most restriction and gets replaced with most aftermarket exhaust systems for our cars.

Federal law does not allow any mod or replacement of cats, except for approved equivalent. It can cost you up to $ 75 Large if you get caught and it is enforced.

The Man is going to hammer the fart cans and Harley's, we have plenty of both out here.

Whew.... I'm exhausted.

It's already started here -- a few people are bickering on NextDoor about their own neighbors with fairly loud bikes simply coming/going thru the 'hood. I won't be shocked if people start tattling on neighbors out of spite.

Keeping a low profile helps, I normally take a 20 minute drive into VT to go have fun that way not to hear the neighbors complain on the 996. The 997 is much more muted with the Tubi when just cruising along and not WOT. Never have an issue due to always running a front plate and no tint which are the two most common things troopers love pulling folks over for. However the annoyed neighbors of a loud car can be an issue.

Vermont troopers are the worst.

Lucky in new jersey they dont bother me for tinted windows or running no front plate. Front plates just do not look right on nice cars.
