I am not convinced yet. Have not tested one on my car. Have asked people who have it to let me test it. They don’t, so seems like something is being hidden. Passing until I am convinced real world not “it works great”. Ain’t falling for that.

I agree. I just know there are a lot of lovers of it so I posted it.

From what I've seen there's almost a unanimous consensus among owners that it's one of the best mods you can do with these cars.

You can test mine if you pay shipping and duties both ways

I can understand wanting to try before you buy, but you figure the most likely explanation for people not eagerly offering to loan them is that something is being hidden? I mean, I like to help out forum members when I can, but I can't see myself digging a $400 controller out of my car (and getting the stock one out of storage), schlepping it to the post office, hoping nothing happens to it in shipping, etc. just to be nice...

And, like, why would people try to hide the truth about how well the thing works?

Personally I find it worthwhile even just to adjust the default rates. The stock setting for sport mode IMO is ridiculously, unnecessarily stiff (even for track unless the track and curbs are very smooth), while the normal mode is pretty floaty. With the DSC box you can choose any rates you want, so both modes become usable. Add in the dynamic control, which is obviously the main benefit it provides, and it's a clear win in my eyes.

One of the first modifications I did was to lower the car with Eibach springs. Gave the car an excellent look but a bouncy ride it didn’t have before I believe. Some here have said it makes it better but won’t remove it completely. There are several other posts that also echo my original post. Some wanted to test the unit and look for differences. Some bought it and then couldn’t tell at all. I know of one whom I asked and never responded. Just claimed it works great. If it only takes 2-3 minutes to remove. It ain’t a big deal. I definitely don’t track my car. Some have stated that that is an area where one can really notice.

My TTS is lowered too with Eibachs and the ride suffereed accordinagly. I installed a DSC and the ride improved but only slightly. The jury is still out with me too and I'm not convined the cost benefit ratio favors the DSC.

Its one of the mods i would do(too many in the list). But for $1k, it is a little pricey. Im my situation, it does make a better price benefit ratio, i can use it in 4 cars, so $300 per car.

Im almost there, getting my lift first then 1 mod at a time.

its not that bad with the Eibachs I can live with it. I do remember with the stock springs, car rode real nice in both settings. Now my normal is like the sport mode with the Eibachs. Is that your feeling as well?

I have the TechArt lowering springs and the DSC. For me, with the poor quality of roads here in Atlanta, the DSC is worth it, even without a huge performance increase. That being said, when I have hit the North Georgia mountain roads, I have been very impressed with the progressively firm feeling the DSC gives my car the harder I push it. The DSC certainly improves the rebound rates when transitioning weight between turns.
