Default Do 997 GT3 rotors fit a Turbo?

In the process of sourcing rotors which is almost impossible in NZ, and found a local supplier for Zimmerman. They've sent through an invoice but the rotors they've listed are 350mm for a GT3. While the size is correct I was under the impression that the different offset would mean that they wouldn't fit my car, but I'm no expert. Anyone know if they're interchangeable between cars?

Answered my own question - no they do not fit

Zimmermann's site shows that the height of the Turbo rotor is 2mm greater than that on the GT3. Back to ordering from the USA ?

Been wanting the Girodiscs for a while. Since I have the Center Locks, it’s very limited.

You should be able to use the same rotors. The 997.1 Turbo rear part (99735240502) and the GT3/RS rear part (99735240502).

Try PFC (https://pfcbrakes.com/parts-finder)

Order from UK any better in terms of ship cost? Design 911 has a good inventory.

The rear rotors and offsets are the same. Many 997 GT3 guys were buying Turbo rotors for the rear because they were much less expensive than the GT3. The offset on the fronts is different.

So do I, but I can't justify the over 3x price increase to get them. About $1300 for the "cheap" decent 1 piece rotors for me, and $4600 for Girodisc (which are the cheapest 2 piece I can find).

Yeah the rears are the same, just the fronts that differ in height.

Design911 are great but tend to work out a little more expensive than Pelican or ECS. It helps that I use a freight forwarder in CA to consolidate packages etc.

Have you considered ST Carbon Ceramic rotors? The Race Prep guys at AutoQuest MotorSports swear by them (Fyi, the owner Gavin is a Kiwi):

Yes I have, but it is significantly more expensive to move to the ST carbons and I just can't justify it. It is actually the best option out there IMO, just a little out of my price range.

Yeah I hear that...the $13K cost for the rotors looks good when compared to PCCB but it's still real money for sure. Fyi, I asked my local Porsche dealer for a full PCCB conversion cost...$32K The ST looks like a good deal if you are investing in a serious track car but yepper $20K is steep.

Yeah they're miles better than PCCB - at a third of the price and likely 3x the life they make a lot of sense. They actually make sense for steel replacement as well and I'd be doing it if I was likely to be driving a lot over the next 6 years (roughly how long it would take me to realise the benefits).
