Default MAF Wire Missing - No Error Code

Drivers Side Wire Intact

Passenger Side MAF Wire Missing
Possibly a moot topic to post...Has anyone discovered that one MAF was missing the wire and diagnostics did not reveal an error code? Recovering from senate confirmation overdose today, it seemed prudent to fiddle with the TT so MAF cleaning came to mind. I discovered the drivers side MAF wire was intact and the passengers side MAF wire was missing. Anyone know why diagnostics wouldn't pick this up? Clearly I'm going to replace the passenger side MAF unless one of my pals here calls foul. MAF P/N is 0 280 218 192 on both units. Thoughts?

If no codes or other issues I wouldnt worry about it.

Thanks for the direction - half the time I search the crap out of this forum, 6Speed and the web on issues and still the search results don't pop. I appreciate the feedback. Given there are others with the same issue, I'll leave it be. Curious however...
