Part Number: 997.618.655.06
Hello -
My 2009 is throwing a P0455 and P0456 for EVAP leak. The part number specified is 997.618.655.06 but i dont seem to be able to find this part number anywhere online. Im new to Porsche and the Durametric diagnostic tool as well, so if im interpreting the part number(presumably faulty) incorrectly, I apologize. Any guidance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

How did you determine that that was the needed part?
Those codes can be several different things, I suggest you read thru this thread.. I had the same issue and solved it with a new vent tube..

The image I provided was from the Durametric scanner. It indicated a part number at the top. I may be reading it wrong, but I assumed that was the part causing the C0455 code.
Thank you for providing the link and I did take a look at it but dont think that the issue I am experiencing as its in the rear of the car. When my wifes car was at an independent shop that only works on japanese cars, I asked if they could do a smoke test. They pushed smoke through the gas tank and there was smoking coming out from behind the front left wheel. We couldnt see the source of where the smoke was coming from and since they were not familiar with Porsche, they were not able to diagnose the problem any further.
My hope was that the part code (if it is the problem) could be identified and replaced. If not, guess I may just take it to a Porsche mechanic to smoke test again and diagnose further to identify the specific source of the leak.
thanks!

If you have a leak near the front, where the gas tank is, then it's probably one of the vent lines in the parts diagram below, OR the carbon canister itself..
Unfortunately you are going to have to get it to a shop that knows how to troubleshoot or do it yourself. The carbon canister is near the front of the car I believe, and that part was on of the possible causes in that link I provided earlier..
