Default PCCB Install/Conversion Quote from Dealer

The details were in my prior PCCB thread but thought I'd post a separate thread for this tidbit: Requested a quote from Porsche of Melbourne for a PCCB conversion of my 997.1 TT and they quoted me an installed price of $33K.

Holy smokes! Not sure it is worth that kind of $$, but that's just my opinion.

The dealer has to pay for the nice clean showrrom and fleet of loaners somehow, eh?

$33k and at most you'll get maybe $3-4k extra when you go to sell. I've seen used sets for closer to the $10k mark, which is almost reasonable IMO if you intend to keep the car forever.

You might as well look for a car with PCCB to begin with for that kind of money. Does anyone know what the cost of the PCCB factory upgrade is?

Are you meaning when the car was built?
In 2007 it was an $8,840 option according to my price guide.

I have PCCB's and I love them. But I would never pay that kind of money to upgrade to them. It makes no sense.. There are so many other steel brake kits available if you want to upgrade your stock set up..

I would call Suncoast and ask them. They used to have the PCCB conversion kit on offer for $15,700 or something like that. Looks like it's not on their website anymore. They do still have the 996 conversion listed.
