Yes - I get your point. However it keeps tire pressures stable across the various seasons we have here in the Northeast.

I am getting a new set of rims for the .1 TT and looking at some Michelin options.
I have heard good reviews about Mich 4S but Michelin has Pilot Sport A/S 3+ZP which are runflats. I am not bothered too much about the stiffness of runflats as I would rather have some peace of mind than having a softer ride.
I was again in a catastophic tire event and its good I was able to drive back home with some pressure left on the rear tire but a runflat will help atleast relieve some anxiety about driving without a spare on long trips.
Anybody had experience with these tires.
