Default New To Me

Hello,

Just picked this beauty up and wanted to share. First Porsche. It is an 08 Cab 6 speed.

I really wanted a coupe, but it was tough to find in decent shape.

This one was too hard to pass up and I do not regret the decision.

Bought it site unseen, only 24 800 KM (Roughly 15 000 miles). Someone really took good care of the car. I had to drive it home 300 km so there are a few bugs on the front. Besides that it looks like new - inside and out.

The rev range report was almost perfect. A few thousand in range 1 and not much else.

And the best part is....someone really liked their leather.....

$193k and without the help of ceramic brakes! The guy who ordered it was a real leather daddy.

Edit: Actually, just noticed the "market adjustment" line. Is that some kind of ADM type thing?

Thanks!

$ 193 CAN.

I was curious about that market adjustment line also? That is odd, but I doubt it would show up on the build sheet if it was something the dealer had put on??

I would guess your build sheet is not a persons build but a dealers build.

I was in a sort of similar situation when I was buying a different car brand. The car is bnew in the lot and has all the options available and a paint to sample. The MSRP was the highest i have ever seen on that particular car. Its almost as expensive as their limited production car.

The car stayed on the floor for 2 months with no buyers. I happen to see it and with right timing, gave them an offer. They were just wanting to dispose of it and i got a big discount. It was sold like a car with few options.

Good for used car buyers as you will get a good optioned car for a lot less.

That is the way to go.

I am seriously doubting this car was a dealer order...You would need to be mental to check all those leather options.

Anyways, have to love the depreciation. Not to mention the previous owner actually cared for the car...win-win.

It was speced by a person. I found the previous owner through the documents that came with the car. I sent him and email and he told me all about it.

This is my build. When I first got my build sheet from the dealer I felt this car has nothing. Its too cheap.

Then I looked at it closely, it has everything I wanted and more.
The only option for me that is a must is sport chrono, axle diff lock and sport adaptives. Then I saw sport shifter, full leather, and lighter door sills.
It could have had more options but will it make it more or less desirable.

I feel I ordered this car in 2006.

I optioned a 991 GT3 for $135k. Thin build sheet. Only thing a must have was a LWB. Sold it $30k above MSRP after 3 months.
