997.2 Turbo vs. 997.2 Turbo S. Engine differences?
Sorry, another question. I feel like such a newbie in the 997 Turbo forum... I know the 996 Turbo platform inside and out but still have lots to learn on the 997 side.
What are the engine differences between the Turbo and Turbo S in the 997.2 gen cars that give the S the extra 30HP?
Does the S just have an hotter ecu tune?
Fancier air-box?
Same or different turbos?
Same or different intercoolers?
Same or different exhaust?
On the 996 gen 2004, the Turbo S included the X50 powerkit, which included larger turbos among other changes, but I recall that the 997.2 S had fewer hardware changes...

Interesting... thanks!
So Kevin, whats the "tunability" of the 991.2 DFI Turbo S? Coming from a 996 Turbo world where big power gains are available with software only, is there significant headroom for more power in the DFI T S without upgrading exhaust, headers, intake, turbos, etc.?

With just Exhaust, I was told you can gain close to 100 whp from Custom tuning (Emre / AIM)....Not to say Sam can't help reach the same.
I'm so wanting tuning..just trying to be money smart right now, as well as deciding on the Fidelity warranty.

Also was told, with proper bolt ons, 997.2 TTS turbos are good for up to 700HP
