There weren’t any manuals for sale in or neck of the woods, and my husband was fine with the automatic. We both learned to drive on manuals, but it’s been 15 years since I’ve driven one consistently. I know all the Porsche purists (aka you guys!) think manual is 100% the way to go. For now we’re happy with the automatic. I have a feeling this won’t be our first Porsche....

We need to get the windows tinted ASAP. Any thoughts on tint type and amount?

Beautiful Car You can never go wrong with a black Turbo, and the '09 is the last of the Mezger engine yet you have the better radio.

Enjoy it

Definitely the wrong nose on the car. I prefer all original body.

Its not the wrong front bumper - note the fog lights next to turn signals. GT cars do not have fog lights.

Someone added a GT hood vent - if done right - its a nice addition.

Nice car - 2009 is arguably best year for .1 cars as you get the updated PCM.

Looks like a turbo bumper with the "smile" grille mod. Lot's of people have done it, not a big deal.

The dealership told us about the mod to the front of the car. Carfax has it listed as a RWD likely because of the look of the front, but the dealer assured us it was an AWD.

You mean the 2009 glue enhancement isn't well known? I believe Porsche had an update bulletin on it. See below....

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I saw an official Porsche bulletin about it at one point. It was sort of an embarrassing problem for Porsche because tracks were banning GT3s, their halo track car, because of cars dumping coolant.

Yes, '09 has a different epoxy. Zero failures supposedly.

I thought change epoxy change started in mid-year 2008.

I believe you're correct, updated epoxy started in the 2008 model year. 2009's are therefore, obviously updated. Good to know, though not a massive deal.

Wow your in my neck of the woods I see you purchased from Niello in Rocklin. You need to join the PCA Club zone 7/SVR \. Congrats on the car and you will love the Tiptronics.
