Wow, congrats! The Ferrari was news to me and now this. Guess I've been AWOL for a month. Both are beautiful cars. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts comparing this to your 997. Keeping the Ferrari? Enjoy!

I only did a 10 mile test drive but I can already tell the car is SO much better in many ways... NOT discounting how awesome my 997.2 TTS was, It's just amazing how much more refined the 991.1 and 991.2 is.
The PDK feels so much smoother / faster.
The 4 wheel steering is awesome in parking lot maneuvering... I'm sure it really helps on the tight twisties at speed too...Can't wait.
The multifunction heated steering wheel is very nice to have. The PDK with the more "correct" shifting is cool too (Pull rearward for upshifts and push forward for down shifts). I love to use the shift stalk for shifting.
The Tune felt pretty strong for sure. Hard to gauge agains my old car with Sam's 2.5 tune, but it felt really close. Can't wait to see how the Dragy numbers compare.

WHAT THE....??? ARE YOU KIDDING ME??????? Why, oh why, do I feel so incredibly .............jealous right now? Why am I, for the last few minutes, obsessing about doing the same thing as you did? Because I'm a crazy MOF*, that's why.
Way to go!!!! OMG>>>>>>>>>> just, wow. 2 cars. I'm blown away. Sometimes it takes a moment like this to really reassess my own life. Maybe I'll secretly start looking for a silver/black 2017 too.
I'm looney tunes, a real nut job. That car looks so sweet. I mostly like this car in silver over all other colors. It's so played down in silver. Really happy for you. I'll look at the other thread now. Dang.... mind blown.

Yup, that's exactly why I wanted a 997.2 TT. I wanted less refinement, not more! Nothing wrong with it in any way, just what you are looking for. Although the 991.1 to the 991.2 is a pretty big jump.
Wouldn't have minded this part though.

LOLOLOL. I always love your responses Steve!! Thank you Brother!!
Yes man! We only live once. You've been thinking / wanting to upgrade for a while now too. I know the 997.2TTS is so awesome and you / I love it, but you WILL LOVE the 991's!!!
I'll support your decision to upgrade. Go drive one at least. They are truly a Step Above the cars we fell in love with (997.2TTS). Don't feel bad about wanting to upgrade.

WOW congrats. I read this and thought didn't you just get the 997TT? or do you have like a bazillian cars. It does happen, many of us have that disease. My wife keeps saying if you get rid of a few of them maybe you could get a 991 too.
Definitely not before. I screw up enough other things to ask for forgiveness on that one. Very very nice car. Now go beet the beejezzes out of it and let us know how it holds up. Cheers, Mike
