So just ask $87500 and see what happens. Is there a reason you didn't post exterior and interior pics though so we can get a visual idea of what you have? It would help immeasurably in your endeavor, I think.

If it's actually worth $87500 you'll sell it for that exact amount. If it's worth $85k it will sell for that instead. I wouldn't get too hung up on $1000 or $2000 here or there. I'd personally only want to sell it to the right person. Some people that inquired about the last car I sold, I just didn't get a good feeling from them even though they offered more money, just a wee bit more money. I sold it to a REAL enthusiast that flew most of the way across the country for my car as he REALLY loved this car and it was exactly what he'd been looking for for a while. It made my happy to sell it to him and the smile on his face when he drove off was priceless.

Its been an upward trend having owned my 3rd TT. I feel it hasnt reached its peak.

Its too cheap for a true special porsche.

The car is so capable even compared to new cars.

People who are looking should buy now as it is going into a sellers market.

Ive been offered by 2 dealers $72 for mine just by looking at it. Thats how bullish the car today.

The last time it was like this was when I sold my scuderia for all the money in the world(you know what I mean)!

We can ask for $90k but buyers dictate the sale price, or you get zero request or fake offers and disappear. Good luck
The market is moving fast, a sale of 6 months ago means little today. Same is happening in Europe, a fairly low mile 997 turbo is now past €90k.
Several are offered around the 100k mark.

I sold my 993S for 59k in 2012, 6 months later the buyer sold it again for 78k, that new owner could sell today for 150k.
How the market will move for the US 997 turbo coupe manual is anyone's guess but I believe it wil go up faster than most realize.

Most of these comments seem to be talking about yesterday's market. For me personally the market can go up or down, I am not selling so don't care.

It's really sad though you are selling for the reason you mention. I have a pristine car in my garage too, I hardly drive it either but I enjoy owning it.
Looking at it is also part of owning a beautiful car. Some people pay top dollar for a painting. They don't get to drive that...
When I take out my car it is an event. Something I remember. I take pictures while being out. I enjoy the sound, smell, the acceleration, everything really.
Cleaning it is also great fun. I also enjoy working on the car. There is so much more to owning a collector car than 'just' driving it...
Every time I take it out it's like it's new to me. And I have owned a 997 turbo since 2007. I really like that car a lot. To me it is exactly like the brochure mentioned back in 2006:
A "masterwerk", as far as I know it's the only time Porsche used that description.

You are killing me Smalls! I will throw some pics up later today and just see. I have 2 storage units holding 2 cars and have 4 cars at my house. I feel like a dealer! First class problems this is but I only wish I had a larger garage or warehouse. Due to everyone moving to S. Florida you can't find a warehouse or storage anywhere. I used to have a place in the Haitian ghetto (not kidding) that held 5 cars and had power and a/c. Was $400/month. Now the entire warehouse complex is fully rented and the rate on that unit is $1200. And this in just a few years.

If you have all the books, records of parts replaced(not necessarily dealer) coolant corrections if any. I would say right now a dealer would probably offer about 45k wholesale. For a quick sell at about 55-57k.

We shall see how the market goes in the next few months. I will probably put my 07 6spd GT Silver coupe FS . 3 owners, 61K miles, all invoices since Day 1, COA, nicely optioned. Looking in the low 60's for asking.

I am going to wait until the spring and then list it. Right now X50 996TTs with low mileage are asking more or same as a 997TT with comparable miles. Just a couple of years ago you couldn't give away a 996TT and now they are up here price-wise? I sold mine for my 997TT but at these prices I should have held!

I think if your car was on the mainland you would've got your ask. Limited number buyers in Hawaii.

if I were you, I'd seriously consider keeping it.

I'd also keep it to be honest. Once it' gone it's gone.
I think everyone here had regretted selling a car in the past.
My biggest regret was selling my Turbo 3.6. F**kin blew that one big time!

I think I have regretted selling nearly every car I have owned which is why I feel like I own a used car lot. I sold my immaculate FD RX7 R1 last year for $32k and it's for sale now for $50k. I only hope my Z does the same thing. This car is a real issue due to its condition and a nearly full carbon fiber interior that just shames any other 997 TT I have seen. Oh decisions.

I havent driven my turbo regularly but i drove it about 300 miles last week and its such a remarkable machine. Nothing like german engineering. People cant believe its a 2007, I cant believe it myself.

Im trying to keep it as pristine as possible but I wont let it sit everytime I get a chance. Tail of the dragon next. I need it serviced before I do that. I dont mind spending money on cars like this.

Im glad it would get younger sister to play with, my GTS.

His car was black and probably would have sold for more if it was a different color other than silver and not on the island. OP’s car also has natural grey leather which is a fantastic option also worth some coin (about $4500 dealer option if I remember correctly). I was one of the people that made an offer. OP’s car is a beauty. Keep it!!

Being in Hawaii didn't help, granted, but I don't think black hurts and 12k miles + PCCBs + 3-year warranty beats natural leather IMO. (Gotgolf's also had Adaptives, btw - it was a very compelling TT.)

Regardless, discussion above makes me think that the market has nudged up so it's perhaps not too relevant anymore.

All I am doing is following the trend which is up. I bought my 930 with 20k miles for $50k and 1 year later sold it to a dealer for $100k who saw it when I was there. They in turn sold it for $130k a few weeks later which had me scratching my head. Point is, past sales are no indication of future sales when demand is high. Anyway, I just put it back in storage to play around with my Z so I'll look into listing in the spring and see where things are.
