Rennline Adjustable Engine Mounts
#17
I have no way to tell as there are no branding on the mounts itself. My search online shows 2 brands of 964 RS mounts - Porsche and URO. Again I got the URO as it was less than 1/2 the price and IMO, works great and looks like the Porsche brand.
But when searching for oem style, I did find Corteco and Rein (distributer?) . I also got the Corteco mounts initially as I was concern about increased NVH but decided to go with 964 RS mounts instead. BTW, the Corteco looks just like my old original Porsche oem mounts for a lot less money. The only down side for me with the 964 RS mounts, is that it doesn't look as cool as the other semi solid mounts, if you care for that.

Thank you for the orders!
We have four more sets coming in Tuesday with the extended bolts.
We have had the Porsche and URO mounts side by side, and can not tell a difference other then the laser part number stamping on the mounts, and the price. Rubber feels of the same durometer and they even weigh the same.
We are also a Rennline distributor and offer the adjustable mounts as well if you decide to go that route.

The original supplier has to have the manufacturing logo and product stamping if manufactured in Germany.
It is my opinion to purchase the factory Genuine Porsche motor mount for just a few extra $$$

The Genuine Porsche mounts have the raised cast 964 part number and Diamond "P" logo.
The URO mounts are aftermarket clones or Reproduction parts. They are NOT manufactured by the original Porsche supplier/manufacture.

So after a few weeks of running the Rennline engine mounts using the blue 'sport' 85A durometer bushings, I swapped back to the yellow 'street' 75A bushings. There is a clear and distinct difference in the amount of engine noise inside the cabin between the yellows and the blues. A few weeks with the blues and I was ready to re-test with the yellows again, and the cabin is much more civil when just driving around on the street. I don't notice any difference in feel between the yellow and blue, so I'm sticking with the street yellows now.
I just received Kevin's data logger yesterday, so we will shortly see if there is any implication with the knock sensors running these mounts.

I promised I would post the knock sensor data using the OEM mounts as well as the Rennline mounts. Here it is.
Rennline engine mounts using the yellow 75A durometer inserts appear to have no effect on the knock sensors. Here are two pulls, both stock ECU mapping without tuning. The top one is with the oem mounts, to the top of 3rd gear. Bottom graph is with the rennline mounts, full 3rd all the way to top of 4th gear pull. Note the Y axis scales are different, but both before and after show retardation of only ~2.25 degrees in just a single cylinder.
So, there we have it.
