Thanks to everyone. I am thrilled with the car so far.
Steve 96C4S, your unbridled enthusiasm for the 997TTS is partly what pushed me to go ahead and take the plunge! None of us are getting any younger, and as they say, YOLO!
JB, it was heartbreaking driving away watching you take pictures. I almost turned around to see if you wanted to take her around the block one more time. The Z06 should keep you plenty entertained until you might decide to pick up another P car. And come visit anytime!
osunick, I love the seats. Plenty supportive for me, and very comfortable. And based on a brief trial in roughly 70 degree weather, the ventilation will be very nice to have. Especially in the warm/hot summers here in the Southeast. I certainly would not hesitate to pick up a car just because it has comfort seats, though I will admit I haven't spent a ton of time with the adaptive seats. Thanks again for all of your help. Hope you're enjoying yours!

Beautiful car and I love the fact that both past owner and new owner are sharing their photos and experiences on the same thread...not something you see every day.

Thanks, and JB (the PO) is a first class guy. He moved on to a 991 GT3 and still posts in that forum from time to time. If he ever has a car for sale, I highly recommend it! He takes excellent car of his cars!
