How uncommon are 'slicktop' 997.2TT and TTS models?

Is “slicktop” really the word for a car without a sunroof? I’ve never heard it before this thread, and it sounds like a fabricated word. However, people in this thread are using it like it’s the proper designation for such a car. Is “slicktop” really a thing?
Prior to this thread, the designation that I saw was “sunroof delete” cars.

I hate it when a cabriolet is called a 'vert', but slicktop has a nice ring to it... :-)

I’m not criticizing it, I’ve just never heard it before.

I have heard it used trackside and at PCA club functions jointly with 'sunroof delete' and 'smooth-top'.
I own a 944 sunroof delete and a friend owns a 997 C4S sunroof delete ('97) and they get talked about a lot at club functions. Neither are seen often if ever, other than on our cars. The deleted roof on my friend's car was not an initially intended option, but was added. It provides an abundant source of headroom as does the interior on my '44; perfect for a helmet. (-;}
On the 944, there is no option code for the 'delete' option, but #650 is coded on my build tags on my other '44s and '89 turbo. That code appears even on the build tags of 944s (with option pkgs used in marketing efforts at sale point by Porsche) such as codes H48, H50, H52, and H54.

I always consider how difficult it would be for me to sell a car that I buy...as I tend to sell them after two years or so. Just something think about... There’s no deal to good to walk away from, or in this case run.
