I agree that the looks of the S6, S7 and S8 are gorgeous but they're just not for me.

I'd get a MB E63S or BMW M5 before I got one of these other cars. Personal taste, that's all.

Since we are on a Porsche forum, what about a new Panamera Turbo? Same size as the S63 and the new one looks fantastic.

Both nice cars but my choice would be the B7. A bit rarer and probably handle a bit better. Had my share of AMG cars. I somehow end up back to BMWs

My bmw agent just texted me about a bnew b7. Its really nice. But they really depreciate like a rock. Ill probably buy a cpo when i get tired with my s550 4matic.

Honestly, mercedes has been far ahead of bmw in the luxury or suv side.
I was at parkplace and dropped by the showroom, a merc interior is really a different level.

My12 s550 is like an interior of a new 7 series.

Yes, I had thought of this. I'm still not so sure this is "me", plus, I regularly have 3 in my back seat for trips downtown with the guys. That couldn't happen in this car. Even the MB E63S can do 3 guys OK in the back seat... I'm not saying this car isn't cool as heck looking, just not so sure it's my style.

i would say thru the years, quality in porsches has improved.
And after owning at least 7 911's (or more), I am not a fan of a long wheelbase 911(panamera).
If it seats 4, get a proper 911.

Its personal preference.

I agree, I had a loaner and it felt like driving a boat. I second the others on the Audi’s, much more refined. You could also look at the Cayenne Turbo
