Cream Turbo - need some suggestions
Hey guys - decided to keep the car over the winter and then sell next spring .... Nice driving in Florida over the next few months once the weather cools off ..
I am removing the blue wrap but was thinking about keeping the side mirrors and rear wing wrapped in black carbon look...
The car now has GT3 vent, carbon fiber front lip and GT2 side vents which are also carbon...
Just want to break up the cream color a bit - but thinking it may be too much ???
I could just do the mirrors and leave the wing in cream ? or just remove wrap and leave it alone ?
My artistic side is struggling with this - any thoughts ?

I'd never even consider buying a wrapped 911... Too many unknowns.
Think it's a good decision to remove it, and the cream with black top and wheels looks pretty nice!
Wrapped mirror and wings wouldn't bother me though, and might look good.

The blue is a better color than the cream IMO but I agree that seeing the original paint is probably important for most buyers. (Personally, I think you should put the original cream side intakes back on, too...)
Carbon mirrors might look cool but doing the wing would be too much, especially with the side scoops, and especially on a cream car that already has a black cabrio top - too much high contrast and busy-ness. Best not to get carried away and turn subtle accents into beating people over the head with it.
A relevant quote I like is, "Perfection is achieved not when there is nothing more to add, but when there is nothing left to take away," and one of legendary German industrial designer Dieter Rams's principles of good design was that "good design is as little design as possible."

Doing the mirrors for sure ... and I will lay some wrap on the wing before instal just to see if its not over the top ...

but its been difficult to sell and I believe the wrap is the main issue....
Will keep it listed on here without the wrap and drive it until sold.
It actually looks pretty good with the black wheels on cream ...
Just ordered a speed tech exhaust to replace the straight pipes and hope to enjoy driving her over the winter down here
