997 Turbo with rebuilt engine?
How much is a 2007 997 Turbo worth with a rebuilt engine and salvage title?
Original miles was 100k before engine rebuild. All damages have been professionally repaired and appears to be in good shape but still has salvage title.

If you can get it for 15K or less than go for it. If not move on to something else.

There was a guy selling a salvage car due to an accident March,
07 Red MT with 20k miles for $55k.
You can atleast gauge how much less you want for it.
How much are they asking?

Salvage 997TT are not worth a ton less than a regular one because of the strength of the 997TT market. I have seen them normally go for 15K less than the equivalent car.
HOWEVER, your example has really high miles. Most Salvage TT I have seen have low miles, so that definitely affects it. I'm going to say it's worth 35K.

What do you expect. Every 3 months there is a new thread on salvage cars and the same 5 people come out that think salvage = free.
Sometimes they are salvaged for the most trivial things. of course the value is diminished but its not free.

There's a group of Porsche people who think pretty much any TT that isn't a sub-20k mile queen with zero overrevs and mods is an untouchable pariah car that gets an automatic "I'd pass" recommendation.
I agree that somewhere in the $30s sounds right, depending on how it checks out.

Why did the engine need rebuidling in the first place. My engine building experience it that some engines are good candidates for a rebuild others are just good for recycling.
Who did the rebuild? Any detailed list of work done? Parts used? Any warranty on the engine rebuild still in effect?
Then to have a salvage title on top of this? These cars are not totaled on the spur of the moment. The car suffered some serious damage either from an accident, theft, or flooding.
My advice is to walk away from the car. This is not the car you are looking for.

^ I am a salvage car advocate but I agree 100% with what you said. Normally you have salvage, but to mix that with engine rebuild is weird. These cars are NOT known for needing a rebuild after 100K.
Sounds rode hard and put away wet.
