Stage 2 mods complete!
I'm super excited about some mods just completed (by my mechanic) on my '09 6MT and wanted to share -
Previously I had already done these "Stage 1" mods incrementally since I bought it in '14:
Plus a list of cosmetic and personalization touches....
The car noticeably pulls harder (duh) and seems to rev more quickly and smoothly thru the midrange, as expected. I really like the EP2's sound and as we have heard before, my mechanic commented specifically on how it "lined right up and fit perfectly" - they were impressed by the completeness and quality of the Europipe hardware kit and custom packaging as well.
I have a few more things planned: Next is a bit more suspension but not a race-build; then when it needs either tires and/or clutch I hope to upgrade the clutch and do wheels/tires. It's a street/canyon hotrod not a drag or track car, and I want to make it more responsive and exciting than stock yet keep it reasonably balanced and civilized.
Thanks to everyone here for all the advice and detailed info which has steered me right thus far, and provided countless hours of entertainment. I will share some more insights and pictures/videos ASAP as I drive it more.
I'll get it on the dyno at World soon as well!
Cheers,
- Europipe Stage 2 (EP2) stainless sport exhaust w/ 100-cell cats

The car was not optioned with it originally - I bought it from a track rat who had switched to a Guard, and had it rebuilt with new Guard ramps and such. The Guard parts apparently work and last better.

Hard to quantify what they are doing specifically, but with the combination of changes, the rear-end definitely feels less floaty and squirmy. Exactly what it needed. A lot of that has got to be the swaybar.
I may play with custom DSC tuning before long.
