Default Happy Anniversary!!!

Happy Anniversary to Me!
This is exactly 1 year since owning my 3rd 997 TT.

I gave it a thorough hand wash and gave it 3 hours of my life today.

No leaks.

Paint is like new. The Xpel clear bra was hanging on pretty well..

Rims are free of any rash.

I am not readying to sell it if you might ask.

I love this car.

Cant believe its 10 years old already.

I am pressured to preserve its beauty just by parking it but I know if I do that, problems will start to happen.

She brings me to work 1-2 a week, 40 miles each way. Only highway miles in 40 mins or less ;> She can tail gate anything in the interstate. That tells them huh.

I believe a car should be properly exercised to maintain in tip top shape but she is a beauty.

Below is I think the best view I would look at her daily.

She looks like ready to fly.

Happy Sunday to all you Turbo Guys!

Nothing beats the hips of a wide body porsche.

Not bad yourself.

I love it. It is unlike any other car I have owned and I've had quite a few decent cars over the years (M3, 300ZX TT, GN, Vette, S2000) and currently have a 480ish HP Mustang GT. The fit and finish are very impressive and when the turbos shove all that air into the engine it is such a rush. I have no plans to get rid of this car and I'm already thinking about what my next Porsche will be years down the road. Like most things, I have learned a lot about this car- what is "right" and what is "wrong"- in just 3-4 short months, so I am excited to improve on any of my shortcomings with my first and current 911.

You picked the best porsche as your first Pcar. Excellent choice.

I slowly moved up, S, then 4S, the GT3, then 3 Turbos.

How did you like the move from S to 4S? As a person considering a 997.2, trying to figure out what would be best for me as a strictly weekend car. Obviously the 997.2 C2S would have better handling, but many of the 997.2 C4S are spec'd better, specifically if you went with a launch edition which are all perfectly spec'd to me. Specifically since they have full leather, which is what I am looking for.

My first was a 997.1 C2S Tip. IT lasted me 4 months as I had the opportunity to trade it to a low miles 997.2 C4S MT for about what I bought it. I think the dealer did not do their homework on it before they took the trade.

The 4S is more comfortable and faster since it is a .2. Suspension is more planted especially on cornering and you wont here too much pot holes not like the .1 S. Try to get the 997.2 as much as possible and if you are not going to track it, find a 4S

It has not left my garage since I cleaned it. Looks classy everytime I look at it. Maybe Ill leave it at my primary garage for now.

It usually stays in storage most of the time but I am digging a turbo this season.

Thanks for the compliments.
