Default Lower / Spring question

What is the best spring to lower the car and keep a respectable ride?

I dropped my 993 to RS height and it's a little rough for daily driving. I'm trying to avoid a mistake for this DD

Thanks in advance.

I am on a set of eibach prokit. The drop was just under an inch. The ride is pretty much the same as with the oem springs. That said, there is less vertical bouncing and nose diving when braking.

Eilbach, techart or gmg. But, keep in mind the dampeners are 10yrs old and lowering springs will shorten their life. I'd suggest the springs coupled with bilstein B8s.

My car has 25k miles. While the age is there, given the magnetic fluid design, would age be an issue ... short of seals? I honestly don't know anything around this, but happy to get educated.

Thanks

I'm on H&R springs. Shocks will eventually need to be replaced on any car, but if it ain't broke... The way the car sits now is perfect; I like that with a simple spring upgrade you can continue to use the PASM as OEM; the ride is only slightly stiffer, but still a comfortable DD.

Mine is a DD and I did Eibach springs, toe links and added the DSC module. I would highly recommend this setup.
Looks great, excellent handling and ride but the dsc really reduces the braking dive and acceleration squat not to mention roll. I doubt anybody that did this setup would tell you they're anything but very happy.

Another vote for Eibach pro-kit + DSC module on stock PASM shocks. Transforms the suspension, on road and track. I've been very happy with this setup.

If you had to replace your PASM shocks for any reason, a great replacement is the Bilstein B8-PASM which retains the PASM adjustability, and the DSC control box works very well with them.

One quick question...

Does everything fit with 20's and 325 in the rear?

I've also heard the Eibach pro kit is the best of the lowering springs for a moderate drop and good ride.
Does anyone with a Turbo S have the Eibach pro kit? I was going to buy them from Tire Rack but the sales person told me they would not fit the Turbo S even though they fit the Turbo. This does not sound correct to me. I tried calling Eibach and was on hold forever so I had to hang up. Sorry for the thread jack but it seems related.
