2010 GT3 engine code P1487?
Does any one know what this code is? Had it cleared by a local mechanic but it came back and now its imbedded in the computer???, car runs great but I cannot get the state inspection sticker till the computer clears it. drove it 100 plus miles, no good. I would like to know what I am in for when I bring the car back to Porsche

P1487 - EGR Boost Sensor Solenoid Valve Open or Short
Possible causes:
- Faulty EGR Boost Sensor Solenoid Valve EGR Boost Sensor
- EGR Boost Sensor Solenoid Valve harness is open or shorted
- EGR Boost Sensor Solenoid Valve circuit poor electrical connection
