Default Sharkwerk EVOMSit ECU Tuning for the 997.1 GT3

I'm looking for some feedback from GT3 owners who have done the EVOMSit ECU Upgrade for the 997.1 GT3, absent of any other engine mod (ie intake, etc). Was it worth $1k? How does it improve the performance?

thanks

I have done the mod on my 2007.1RS to complement my SW bypass center exhaust. I feel the extreme bottom end (such as pulling away from a stop) is slightly better, but I am not certain much else is clearly better. Cost me closer to $1500 for my reprogram.

The software works in harmony with the the EVO headers, exhuast etc. The tune alone you will get better throttle response and a little more shove, but the main improvement was making all the mods in harmony. Everything is much smoother. You will expect a true 10WHP gain.

Yep, that's how my car is set up as well - EVOMSit software + headers & 200 cell cats.

I picked up 18HP to the wheels on the top end. However, in the lower ranges (I recall 3500-about 4750) I picked up the better part of 30 to the wheels in additional torque. This was with set of customer headers, side deletes and using a COBB port on the dyno to tune.

Dyno chart with before and after. My car feels much more responsive, plus the sound is amazing.
