991.2 gt3 manual or pdk?
Really sorry for posting in the wrong forum.
Hello to all. I have been follwing reenlist for a while in the gt3 991 forum. I put a deposit down last summer on a 991.2 gt3. My dealer just called me to make up my build so it seems I will get one. I would love to daily drive it. I drive 9 miles to work each way and the roads are prerry smooth. But trafic is pretty slow in the morning. Any advice?
Should I go manual or PDK?
Thank you for your input.

I was actually thinking about this...
Street: manual
Track fun: manual
Track fast: pdk
Coming from one who daily drove it for a few years on a 50 miles round trip commute and rather drive it on the track.

+1 track fast; PDK. No worries with that for the street either, seems like most of the factory drivers now prefer PDK as well, and if you have any kind of stop-n-go on your commute, it's a no brainer. (IMHO... your mileage may vary).

If you're voting PDK grab a 991.1 at soon to be fire sale prices.
+1 on manual. - 6-speed, same from 991R, auto rev matching....done.
If I'm guessing it will have a clutch feel similar to the GT4, so that's doable seven in LA traffic. Now if it was a 997 GT3 clutch, different story.

Mine will be manual. If it's half as good as the gt4 or 997gt then it's a winner. Make 3rd gear work tho.

the 991 platform is best with a PDK.
But if you missed the boat on the 997 GT3 and must have a stick to relish the days of when you had a 964 or 993, then the manual is for you.
