Nice car. Congrats.

I thought about an idea the past month if I sell my RS and I started looking around for something to replace it.

I really cant think about anything in its price range to replace it.

I am pretty comfortable to say that my RS and TT may or can be the last porsche in my stable.

I am just fortunate to have found perfect examples to keep.

Are the 964 RS all straight importable at 25 years or are there specific versions of the RS that are importable to the US and not others? Looks like some are floating around the $200k mark (with miles on them, obviously). Cool car to refresh.

All can come over at 25yrs. I brought one over recently. If 200k and good condition, fairly good deal. My experience was most were beat to death. These cars were TRACK cars in the day. People didn't buy them as nice weather, Sunday drive cars. Most that are available at "reasonable" prices are probably good mechanical condition but were fairly dedicated track vehicles in their day. And no one ppf'd anything back then.

But I was looking a while back. Market may have changed? Euro not helping the prospects for better pricing right now. CJ would know more; he's brought a few over recently.

I'm not the best at cosmetic car care anyway.... mechanical condition much more important. Though I did finally invest some decent coin in a full paint overhaul and new clear wrap for my 2007, so maybe I'm swinging into a garage queen kind of guy.

Finally got the chance to drive my "new to me" 997 GT3 RS today for the first time since buying it 1 month ago.

It has been in the garage getting a full service and few very small items corrected. While there I had the car fully detailed and a ceramic coat applied. Boy does it pop! it is like a new car inside and out.
