I am thinking of selling my 07 997TT 11k miles very clean in order to purchase
this one I really like on ebay:

I figure the GT3 will appreciate more in time, don't really put too many miles on my car, have had my turbo for 2.5 years and have put 4k miles on her.

Is this a smart move? I know the rarity of the car holds better than the turbo but will I miss the boost like many talk about? Going from a turbo to NA GT3?

I sold my turbo, bought a GT3 and never looked back. The 997-2 GT3 is actually faster than a 997-1 Turbo from 60 to 120 MPH. Think about that for a second. 997-1 GT3 isn't much slower than your turbo. But it's a lot more involving to drive.

I don't have a 997 turbo but do have a 958 turbo and it's fun. Is it as fun as an 8k redline. Absolutely not!

That being said, I think you can find a better deal than that 997.1 for 120k. Prices seem to be coming down a bit.
