Pitlane Cart
I got a trailer however instead of building inside the INSIDE of trailer like most do, i'm looking to just buy a pit lane cart. After doing this for sometime and seeing those whom own trailers with stuff. They ALWAYS haul stuff from inside trailer because they setup outside their trailer. I want to be able to setup outside the trailer at a more efficient rate. therefore a cart like this i can put 95% of the essentials i need for a DE, in one go. Plus keeps everything clean and in one place.
the only problem with the cart bellow for a conventional DE trailer, is that the wheels are parallel to the longest wheel base. In order for this to work for a conventional DE trailer at maximum use of space, i would like to get one that the wheels are perpendicular to the longest wheel base of the cart. Where can i get one off the self ? C-tech only company around ?
p.s. no i don't need the TV's -
I don't even own cable at home.
p.s.s
Their is another reason why i need the wheels perpendicular however once i have the unit i can post "modifications" of what i plan to do with the unit.

^ u need winch in trailer and motor in cart b/c neither kas or i will help you push it. it's HEAVY. i can't even push my 4 stack tire rack up by myself or my snap on box which is way way lighter than c tech
C tech will do whatever you want, just pay them.
i will be using your c tech ;-)

I think a larger tool box on swivel casters with a winch is the easy answer - oh and a small ramp to make it over the lip of the lowered door
I have a snap on box strapped to wall - thought I would roll it in and out on track days... but I have found that if I need all those tools, then my track day is basically over.
Subscribed to see where you end up
Good luck!

it's all about creativity. If you're not creative in the SF bay area, then you're getting left behind.
or something remotely close to what i picture then .... get my welding, blow torch and cnc machine and work some magic.
easily 10-15k in "parts" - that's with me making some of the cnc stuff and welding done by in house welder.

you'll definitely win the De Cup with that setup.

lol wtf Enrique
I have a abs plastic cart from Lar's build thread and a craftsman tool box strapped on top
The tools in that cart are sufficient to literally build a Porsche - I've dropped trans and replaced an entire axle assembly with tools in it at track

I don't take part of the DE Cup racing
I'm just out their hanging out with you DE club racers.
If track meeting is at 7:30, i can roll in at 7:20 and be fully setup and at the meeting by 7:30.
* setup:
- Have all tools ready and handy outside trailer
- Have "normal" spare parts ready and handy (brake rotors, pads, fluids, etc)
- Have your tires/ wheels next to you
- Setup car canopy
- Table next to your car
- etc, etc
p.s. besides the easy setup - other point of this- the trailer will be used for other things.

Its awesome to have track buddies with all the cool ****.
I'm a semi-minimalist. But kinda like Audipwr have every tool I need to basically disassemble the car. Just not in a convenient place. And more often than not I'm using the tools on someone elses car :-) But setup is take car off trailer and setup my folding chair.
Yeah and I don't race...

If you build one keep it low. Two or three is better than one big one, unless you travel with a crew. High CG will give you several terrifying moments when you get on anything but very level smooth concrete. If you have a flat load like a Level Lift lift gate not as big a deal but when it gets rainy and slippery on a ramp you better keep a lot of young helpers close by. In the film business we load unload every day out of semi trailers. Even my four foot tall mobile Lista cabinets can pucker you up when they weigh 500 pounds and you do not...

no way i'm pushing- electric is a requirement.
you're more then welcome to use it
the idea behind this device, is to have wheels/tires / canopy / set of pads / rotors / tools/ lubricants all in one place. I have a warehouse that i have several tools i work with, therefore when i'm in the warehouse i can use my tools. when going to track i just load this massive thing i want to build into trailer, and i have all my tools.
it's all about creativity. If you're not creative in the SF bay area, then you're getting left behind.
all this will be custom made--- first i need to find the electric chassi cart
or something remotely close to what i picture then .... get my welding, blow torch and cnc machine and work some magic.

Sounds like a fun project Enrique! Don't forget a pit-bike that pops out for those long tracks back to the bathroom. Also need something to fill the fuel jugs, unless you just drive car over... wasn't that convenient in the Radical.
