Guys
I will be adding some noise to my 997.2 GT3 and need to make a choice between the RSS xpipe and the Sharkwerks....
Any insights? Comments? RSS is quite a bit cheaper, looks well made but the Sharky solution seems to be the typical go to for xpipe.
Thanks!

They all sound about the same. I slightly prefer the sound of the Sharkwerks, but went with GMG because of the aesthetics.
The new BBi looks very nice too. Never seen or heard it in person.

I agree. Difference so small just pick the one you like look and price of. FYI...they do make a great sounds.
Debating this would be like debating which gear **** finish is best when all are attaching to same gear stick and gearbox......nothing in it.

In my experience, SW cheaper than RSS. They are a different design also. RSS is an x-pipe and pipes are larger diameter. SW pipes do not actually cross and narrower diameter. None of this is better or worse but I think they end up sounding substantially different.
SW a lot more mellow than RSS. I typically put SW on my gt3's that I borderline DD'd. I was fine driving SW with flaps open, around town; it tends to be a little quiet for what I want out on back/open roads. RSS is a little aggressive for DD use, esp in somewhat confined areas. but awesome out on back roads.
I'd tyically put SW on my gt3's and rss on RS's.

I've got RSS also and it's loud. You can keep it quiet by non sport and not stabbing that gas, but what's the fun in that.

Have tried both, I like the sound of the RSS down low. Doesn't mean SW is not good. Just personal preference.
I have a RSS X-Pipe for 997 GT for sale if that helps. I also have a SW set up that came on my 991 GT3 for sale. I decided to switch to RSS, hence its up for sale.

Raj
