Default Willwood Hitch for 997 GT3

Hey guys
I previously used the Willwood Hitch on my 996 40th. It was very reliable.
I recently installed the Willwood Hitch on my 997 GT3. Worked great towing my kids gokart for autox the past few weekends several times.
No issues with center exhaust either.
For those unfamiliar, it is "hidden" behind the license plate.
Thought the track junkies here might be interested for towing their R comps instead of getting crappy compromise tires as I see discussed.
Happy to answer any questions.

Very cool.

Questions:
How much the kit cost?
How much the install?
How reversible? [looks like you had to cut the bumper behind the plate]
How much does it weigh?
How much did a trailer of that size cost?

Parts about 675.
Install about 500.
Other than the bumper cutout behind the license plate completely reversible.
Weighs about 5 lbs. Removable so no weight penalty while autocrossing or whatever.
Trailer cost me 300 years ago

We will be running in Daytona December 27-30th that looks like a LO206 hitch it up and head on down it will be a ton of fun. You may be able to kart race at Autobahn next year also. Plus Blackhawk has a big kart race each year also

Is it only a ball mount? I'd like to put a 1.25" receiver bike rack

Uses a 1.25" receiver and comes with a 1.75" ball mount. I have seen others mount a bike rack to this Willwood Porsche setup. Ball mount easily changed for another size of your choosing. Pics attached.
1.75" ball mount.
1.25" receiver

Do you have to cut into the frame or just some of the plastic behind the license plate and then it's a bolt on affair?

Mind sharing where you bought the hitch from, do they sell direct? Their website doesn't have any pricing info.

Daytona is definitely on my to do list someday, but not yet. Maybe when my son is 16. It is an LO206 that I'd like to take to autobahn soon. I'll look into Blackhawk. Thanks!

You have to drill into the aluminum bumper. Otherwise no cutting.
It is a retired engineer who does this for fun. You can only buy from him. No online order form, lol. requires old fashion phone call. service is excellent.See website for contact info.

That sounds a bit scary but I guess a pro fabricator could probably handle it. Mind sharing the approx price?
