^trojans's car is really clean and i had many brown moments in it for posterity. $250k would be a good number, wire him 200, and sent the 50 to me
btw, i am not kidding about where to wire the money
what are some, if any, of the must have options? It's going to be an off market transaction, and I want to make sure I'm not overlooking any boxes that needed to be checked in hopes of getting the car.
thanks.
Good luck to the hunt. getting more difficult to find the right car. But for me, as long as no frame damage, engine runs great and few rockchips, that is a great car.
Make sure you test drive one. The clutch on that thing is heavy but when you get used to it, its just another drivers car.
Post the car here and we can see if that car has come around already.
However, after getting the set of photos, I am a little reluctant as I don't know what all changes have occured that aren't documented, but from what I can see:
- console was wrapped in alcantara, aftermarket
- door pulls are now black on the inside
- silver accent graphics instead of the gold
- other accent pieces painted silver
- photos seem to show the stitching worn off on the buckets in a place or two
Got any more pics? Mileage? Price? The cosmetics can be taken care of fairly easy and car can be brought back to stock but that needs to be reflected in the price.
Used to have red accents. And PCCBs... That said the price is decent IMO if you're buying it to drive it and everything checks out mechanically. You can convert it to OEM spec relatively easily except for the PCCBs...

ah, thanks. I saw that, and wasnt sure if it was accurate. Has range 1 and 2 overrev. No range 3+.

when I use the vin to recreate the original sticker, it doesnt match what pops up on the registry, so not sure what the disconnect is.
Yeah, that's strange. The registry is generally reliable from my experience but the Porsche Dealer network is always better...
Looking further at the VIN on Google, it seems that Gavin at AutoQuest had this car for sale at some point. He's a great person and very knowledgable on everything GT3/RS/Cup. Might be worth giving him a ring tomorrow and see if he might know more about it.

thoughts? anyone know this car?
Wow,
I absolutely love the exterior of that car. Checked their website but couldn't find pics of alcantara dash. Do you have interior pics?
