I am itching to get some new street wheels for my NB Carrara white GT3. I like the classic Motorsport look (I.e. Not blingy). What do you guys recommend?
Street wheels for a GT3 are a very subjective and personal thing. The really sharp-looking ones tend to be hellishly expensive and in my case, there were budgetary considerations.
My GT3 came with a set of Champion Motorsports RG5B wheels that are forged one-piece wheels but came with titanium bolts to make them look like 3 piece wheels. While they are attractive wheels, like you I wanted a more motorsport-looking wheel and ended up with Starke BC's which are available through Tire Rack and other sources. As Porsche alloy wheels go, the Starkes are reasonably priced. Had cost not been a consideration, I'd be running BBS E88's which absolutely nail the motorsport look.
The top photo is with the Champions, the other two show the Starkes. If you like the Champions, I still have them and they will be priced WAY below their >$5K original cost.
