I have been told that the steel used for the RS lightweight flywheel is relatively soft, and that the flange surface distorts after a single installation. I was told that after removal for any reason, a new flywheel should be used every time. That sounds awfully over the top. Has anyone heard this? This would mean that a RMS leak that develops right after installing a new clutch and flywheel would then require another flywheel.

I can't quite buy into it. Maybe after 4 times, it may be an issue if there is a real issue, but flywheels get used over and over.......

I just need a 99 Spec Miata.
