Default New Gt3 owner (again)

Hi guys,

Just wanted to show my new to me Gt3.
It's as some of you probably know not my first one.
I had a very nice cobalt blu that I sold a while back to buy a manual R8.
I've missed that car from day 1 so I'm very happy to be back.

Enjoy the pics.

Nice find. We know you will be back. I know I did.

There is no substitute.

Which model R8 were you coming back from?

Been having an itch for a V10 manual for a while now....

Feedback would be great !

Oh and welcome back !

That looks great.

Im also looking at an R8 as a fun toy for a while.....they seem such great buying vs 911 cars at present. What was your view of it??

It was a V8 R8 in a very nice spec.
Full carbon, Recaro seats etc...
It's difficult to explain why I didn't really like the car but a few words that describe it is, to sterile, no connection, no emotion.
I missed the twitchy racy character and of course the sound with a center bypass.

Thanks for the compliments

Welcome back to fold. Looks like a great car with some extra goodies in there.

I currently run both a 7.1 GT3 and a R8 V10 manual spyder.
They are wonderful complimentary cars. The Audi is much more luxurious, and a better daily car. It's also significantly faster (mine has an exhaust and full Gallardo tune so about 500bhp at the wheels.
The Porsche is all about connection and I can lap it more quickly at DEs despite the power gap.

But if you love one, you will love the other.
