Cannot thank you guys enough for all the responses...I know deep down i want the GT3, so thank you all for confirming that!
long time ownership is the goal here, so its a safe bet the GT3 variant will retain its value over the years.
Now the Decision lies between the inevitable 997.1 vs .2 debate...glad im in the right place!
