Default Any Info on This GT3

Hi Everyone,

I know high mileage GT3s has been talked about before in this forum. I am fully on board with high mileage long as it is taken care of. But I am just wondering if anyone knows this GT3. 47k miles looks like a mixture of track and street miles. It is a low priced GT3 compared to the market. Steering wheel and wheels are changed. Wondering if it is worth purchasing.

Any insight about purchasing GT3s or this pariticular one is apperiacted.
Thanks

I don't mind, but is this normally done on RL? Don't want to break any unspoken rules.

Seeing the price it is not surprising. Probably a dirty DME.
Asking price off by a lot compared to market and car sitting for a while are definitely red flags that a PPI will confirm.

Long as there is no structural damage and crazy over revs I am okay with it. The car price is below 20k average, means that you have 20k to spend on fixing it in the long run.

The car is missing some things:
Transmission cooler air duct missing from rear panel
Front lower control arm brake ducts missing
Front fender liner mud flaps missing
Rubber air guide on right front fender liner missing

Add ons:
Akrapovic Evo Exhaust
GMG Wheels
4.0 RS Steering Wheel

Not sure which missing part is fatal to the car. Seems like all of them are easily replaceable.

There is a lot of repaint on this car. Besides that it seems okay.

I'd say a lot of repaint is the key here.

Given the missing pieces and the paint work I'd personally want to pull that front bumper and all the inside hood linings to really inspect the tub and front horns to see how bad of a hit it took. There are enough signs there to dig deeper.

If you're looking for a high mileage car to make into a track car this could be a great option as long as it wasn't hurt badly. Continue to do your homework and make an informed decision.

That is what I intend to do. I will drive the heck out of the car, that is why I am not looking at low mileage garage queens. But yes there is def a chance that it was hit, but to see if there is any major structural damage is key.

If it was not disclosed on the carfax most likely that incident happened on the track.

i was able to see the ppi report, to me it sounds like car had a major collusion at a race track that involved the entire front end and the side. I wouldnt touch unless I am ready to accept the fact that I may not be able to sell the car again for a decent price - if at all.
