I actually thought people posted fairly useful advice. But i did buy a GT3, so maybe I'm a clown too.

Typical RL's??? OP ask for our thoughts. What would one expect? Overall this was a fun thread until the last few "serious" jokers show up.

Good luck OP! Bottom line your blessed because your about to buy a great car.

Lots of non RL members asking questions about cars. Members then take their time to give thoughtful responses and the OP barely pops back in to the check the thread.

He miraculously came back after I made the comment ;-)

Nothing miraculous about it lol. I just was not getting email alerts that the thread had been getting replies so when I checked I saw all the posts which I appreciated.

$17/year gets you a paid membership and access to the members only sub forums. Some "members" look down on people that don't have paid memberships for some weird reason.

You only need to be a member if you plan to sell or buy. I'm a member just because. I don't find myself checking on others to see if they are.

Anyway, subject changed because some have an issue with opinions, not because of memberships.

It would suite me just fine if some members would just leave and not renew their membership.

Looking at the cars you currently own you may really enjoy the 991 GT3RS
I think the opposite is true, the GT3/RS cars are about to peak, while the 997 Turbo cars haven't bottomed out.

In my opinion, from a money POV, the smart dollar is on the 997 Turbo. Undervalued, and enough units to find the right one at the right price. Buy well and value will hold or increase. On the other hand, 997 GT3 variant values will plummet once 991 GT3 stick models are introduced.

All IMO of course. Yours may vary.

I guess I have some learning to do then

BTW, A friend had to have a clutch replaced on his Lambo, whole engine had to be removed. The Porsche is a much better made car

"I'm the dude playing' the dude..." LOL

What were those Italians thinking? We only need to remove the whole engine when we do spark plugs.

Edit: I just realized this thread is almost 3-months old! Doh! Went full retard.
