I get my E88 through my shop BBI Autosport. They know the right sizes and specs.
Mooty also has a shop he works with, he may buy more BBS than most top race teams :-)

Thanks for the suggestion. Haven't talked to Betim or Jerry in a while so it might be worth giving them a call. GMG also reached out, its good that I have options on wheels. Bit lacking for choice on the CAE though. Having some lead time/supply troubles with the vendor I'm currently using so I'm hoping for possible alternative sources. Might just abandon the CAE shifter idea and either go with Function's kit or stick with the OEM 997.2 shifter that I currently have.

If anyone knows the BBS E88 specs for the narrow body GT3, It'd help me make an informed choice. Seems like I'm getting a very slightly different answer regarding the offsets from every vendor I ask, although the 18x9 and 18x12 part always stays the same. Thanks in advance for the help Spyerx/anyone else who comes in to help.

Check this with BBS:

997 GT3 non Center-lock
0288274 / 1.0 / 8.0 ET + 50.0
0288108 / 2.5 / 9.5 ET + 64 w/o factory 5mm spacer
0288107 / 2.5 / 9.5 ET + 68 for use with factory 5mm spacer (effective ET is + 63.0)

Hi RSRanger,

Thanks for the suggestion. I did contact them actually and placed an order with them. While I haven't quit on them yet, due to various reasons, I decided it would be in my best interest to look for alternate sources. You know what they say about not putting all your eggs in one basket and all that.

Thanks Spyerx, where'd you get that? These also look very slightly different from the answers I have been getting from others. How interesting, haha.

The general answers seems to be 18x9 ET50 front, and 18x12 ET63 or ET64 in the rear without spacer (I'm sure the 1mm doesn't make a practical difference, rather comes down to what to order), and ET68 with factory spacer.

If I order "without" factory spacer option, I should get by OK with standard 997 lug bolts front and rear instead of the extended 997 lug bolts front and rear designed for spacer use?

If you're interested, I was in on the special BBS run last year for the 5 lug monoblock. IIRC I paid an extra $600 for satin black finish. I have the same 997.1 GT3 as you so perfect fitment. Wheels are brand new--I only opened one box to peek inside, the other is still taped up as received. Never got around to having tires mounted, etc and am probably listing my car for sale as no time or place to drive. There's a long thread on here re the wheels and the group buy. If you have any interest send me a PM.

Also, wondering what the ideal sizes and offsets are for a narrow body 997.1 GT3 for the BBS E88s. Thanks.
Shot you a PM on the E88's!

Hard Motorsports has always come through for me on the CAE shifters, four of them so far.

Oh I'm sure. Hard Motorsport has come through for quite a lot of people. I'm just trying to keep an open mind regarding where I can get things, that's all. It'll only help in the long run if I have options.

Thanks for your PM! Between you, Spyerx, and Tom at TPC (who I don't think even deals with selling wheels but was willing to help me anyways, bless him) I was able to figure out the sizes and offsets that I need. I think I've have the wheels pretty much figured out soon.

I always go directly to the source. Calm CAE in Germany and order direct. That's what I do. They also have a website.
