Just checked C&C inventory and didn't see the black 997 4.0, just the 991 RS.
Anyone have the link?

There were (as many have been exported) 157 4.0's sold new in North America. White made up the majority, call it more than 60%. Black around 20% and very few PTS. I realize this doesn't add up to 100% but some information just can't be published.

No, very few but I can't say exactly how many. I was trying to give everyone a good idea of the color split from the total in response to FLGT's question.

Sure, only 300K....really? Why would you want one. You could build your dream beater frankenstein with a 4.1 for the price of a crashed 3.6 you want to pay. It's just parts...

The numbers I have are 156 total North American cars with:
107 White
34 Black
3 PTS metallic
12 PTS flat

Maybe I'm missing 1.

i love luftgekuhlt but b/n singer and 4.0, i take 4.0 every time.
once i have 3 or more 4.0, then singer.
not that one is better than the other. but i love 4.0 and i have a lot of miles on that engine.

yup, off by one. there were 35 Black. all the rest you got correct.
