Oh I thought I saw some resort on Google Maps right near the track ... there's nothing 'right there'?

It's a 2-hour drive from my house so I'm going in the AM. Radar detector will be ON.

A warning for those hauling the mail....
It's 180 miles door to door for me.
Do the math.
Lots of chp at the 60/10 merge before cabazon. Ask martin.
And that long stretch from Indio to desert center. Careful. Saw 3 cars going to track pulled over at once there...

So 2 weeks away - is anyone staying out there? Anybody have any open beds?

If not, who's driving out from LA? Anybody want to caravan?

Hell no, I'm driving out from Irvine. I can meet up with people off the 91 past the toll road or after I get on the 10 from the 60.

Track has gas onsite (91, 101, 110 leaded). or bring gas. closest station is 30 miles either direction.

Yeah, what are the onsite prices like? I'm assuming $5+ for 91. Do they take credit?

And that answered my question - will need gas before I go into the track after driving out there...wanted to know where to look to get that gas.
