i have noticed many canadian dealers are marketing and pricing directly to the US market. there were some deals to be had with the lopsided exchange rate prior to this run up. In particular, i found a ferrari much better priced than anything in the US. With that said, I would much rather find a US vehicle if its only a 5 to 10% difference in cost.

You will spend $5-$6k (about 4%) based on an estimate for a $155K car I saw recently on another thread. This to import a former US car back into the states from Canada. This above the selling price. Rough rule of thumb.

Default RS

Is it just me, or is that front end peppered?

Looks like rain (see lip)

In general I think this car might be a tough sell to people stateside. There are a few Canadian GT3 and RS on this forum that are clean but are having a tough time selling. Not only are you going to pay the extra tax, as a buyer you're going to have to deal with added paperwork, standing in lines, etc.

Why would they photograph a car inside their showroom with rain on it?

Looking closer at the paint, it looks like you can see the primer through the chips. But that also could be a reflection on the supposed rain drops. I need just a slightly higher-res photo.

I thought it was rain at first but you bring up a good point, also see lack of water droplets on headlights. For that price it better be spotless

It's not, I see scrapes on the spoiler lip. I just don't get. People selling $150k plus cars and cannot change a $200 part!

Typical of the grey cars, the paint is too soft.

I have personally seen this car. Clean car proof, 1 owner .... It is mint all around, no "patina" rock chips or anything like that. I went over it with a paint meter as well and there is no indication of any paint work.
