Seems to be a great car. Styling is 'ok'. Might look better without so many contrasting panels. Not crazy about a $200K car with an open diff.
What do you attribute the poor resale to? Poor reliability? Lack of dealers? Expense of maintenance and/or repairs?

More supply than demand (!!) and 650S arriving within 2-3 years of the 12C are my guesses, as an observer.

I'm obviously a McLaren superfan but think the best colors for this are dark silver, blue, purple. I would not do white or orange on this body type.
Generally white and orange have the highest pct of orders across the platform.
Yellow just doesn't do it for me on the 570. I'd personally do a custom blue or purple or volcano red.

It's handling is aimed at a more drifty type dynamic- supposed to be super focused on the fun angle as opposed to outright power or precision like 650s. I think it does 3.2 0-60?

it's only an open diff in name...it doesn't really act like one. just like how they've replaced the anti-roll bars (not on the 570s) but the car still doesn't roll much. the function is still there; just the approach is different. Although many people say an open diff does feel more natural, as well as actual anti-roll bars!
