I run OEM wheels with 245 tyres, you will need to change your suspension geo otherwise you will get rubbing on lock.

I run 265 R-comps (which are as wide as a 285) on 9.5's on the front of my car. No rubbing.

It's all about wheel offset and suspension alignment.

Love this thing! Perfection. IMO baddest white 997 GT3. I prefer v1 as it looks cleaner but to each their own.

On a side note, I haven's seen that MI logo in some time and now I am feeling old.

wow that looks superb. BBI well done. How do the electronics (ABS, TC etc) like or cope with the tire rolling diameter changes front to rear vs OEM?

I used to run NT01 245/40 and 305/35s on 18x9x12s. Recently switched to NT01 275/35 and 335/30s on 18x10x13s. It's a substantially faster set up, 1.5 seconds quicker on a 2 minute lap and easier to drive at the limit. It's really a huge all around improvement. This is on a 996 but would correlate equally to 997s.

Man, no matter what the 997.1 GT3 is so charismatic and beyond beautiful. IMO it is the most beautiful of them all. The stitch between the air cooled cars and the modern era cars.

Couple of questions:

What is the ride height of the BBI car
How did you determine that your LCA's are stronger than the MS version?
Where did you get the flairs for the front?

Thanks

Ray

The flares are Porsche Motorsport gt3 cup flares. There is actually a set for sale in the classifieds right now.
