oil temperature
I have searched the forum, looks like the normal oil temperature for the GT3 is 200-250 F. As a new owner though, I have a question...
I was driving my 7.2 GT3 home from the shop (had new Sharkwerks bypass installed) at rush hour last night, it was 80F outside, not much humidity. I was in stop and go traffic for about an hour, and the oil temp got up to maybe 230F. This seemed strange to me, as I was just putting along. I have driven it hard and fast on back country roads on much hotter days and it runs about 210 F. I guess the lack of air flow over the radiators going slow really affects the cooling. My TTS oil temp is directly connected to work output -- drive fast, warm... put along, cool... So is this all normal?
Oh, and the Sharkwerks -- WOW! I did find a little room to open it up to 7000 rpm in a couple gears, thru enclosed underpass, under freeway, oh my! Sounded like F1! Still shaking my head every time I drive the car.

That 105 split-leg looks a bit familiar. Have pulled a few lanyards in my time. Never knew what ear plugs were at the time.
