I can't seem to get a straight answer on front toe in vs out. I guess ill try out on my next alignment and see how it changes.

Unfortunately no lap videos. I couldnt find my gopro while loading up. Well, actually it is still missing... I think i can easily break into the 53s with a bit more confidence going into t1 and phil hill.

I would not run any toe on the front axle. 0 toe, and any error in the setting to be on the side of toe *in*.

Some Porsches that I've tried toe out get really really darty under braking. I've never tried it on the GT3, because I don't enjoy a nervous car. I've always just targeted 0

Sure, but I got my specs from a very reputable Porsche shop who specializes in race setups. While at the track I spoke with another very reputable Porsche shop who specializes in race setups and that person told me to go toe out up front. So maybe the meet in the middle is literally zero. So you're right, HAHA!

yeah I’ve heard both from different shops/drivers. Think that part comes down to preference and driving style. I don’t mind a playful car, my buddy likes more stable so has toe in.

I'd definitely trade some of my under steer for over steer. Sway bar adjustments for the next outing. Then front toe adjustment and if that doesnt work i'll remove the gurney from the wing.

After reading everything I could find here and elsewhere for several weeks (thanks again to everyone who chimed in!), this is my planned setup for the next time out:

Ride Height: 100mm / 120mm
Camber: -3.0 / -2.5
Toe: Neutral or slight toe IN / 2mm IN (per side)
Sway: One from softest / Middle

Having my wheels refinished now, and will have new Cup 2s (245 / 315). Also installed RSS locking toe arms and Ferrodo DS 3.12 (which is fantastic on track, and surprisingly manageable on street).

Should be a solid baseline for fine tuning, and certainly dramatically better than my first time out.

Question, did you plan to do anything with the rear? I have my rear uprights off (putting in time-sert threads on caliper bolts) and thought maybe it was a good time for new LCA's. I was looking at the RSS or Tarret but I just don't know if its really worth $1800 a side.

Not yet. I have Cup arms on my GT4, and they obviously tighten things up quite a bit and offer easier / more adjustment, but I’m going to just do things incrementally on the GT3. Want to see how it behaves with fresh rubber and proper alignment before I start changing out integral components.

yeah just wouldn’t feel comfortable at track speeds. Seems sketchy.
Have you reached out to Tire Rack? I'm assuming you picked the tires up from them as the letter states to contact them.

yes emailed They asked for pics so sent those over Tuesday. Waiting to hear back …. But also saw this comment in my car thread (pic below).

I just can’t imagine that being safe and the line looks deeper now after driving on the street abit with them. Putting on my ps2 for street use. I wouldn’t trust them for canyon driving let alone track driving.

So are they stating that it's safe to track spliced tires?

That is definitely not the case, it's how and when you lift.

DON'T LIFT is just folklore.
