funny, i asked your opinion on a particular low-mileage 964 i bought a while back and you commented........collector car and drives like crap! i've since sold my 3.2 and 964. maybe you were just trying to throw me off the trail so you could buy it?
couldn't agree more. i don't think a 991 "throw-back" car is going to feel like a throw-back car regardless what they do to it because it's on the 991 platform, which is a really good, and modern, platform. buy the old stuff to have the throw-back feeling and buy the new stuff for ridiculous performance with warranty, cup holders and touch screens.

So I do have the opportunity to experience the an array of experiences, one is not better than another they are different, they all are fun. I do not advocate the 991-911R as any ultimate package, but just an interesting one as is the 991 GT3RS. I see nothing wrong with Porsche catering to nitch market segments, and if true that it is sold out, good for both buyers and seller. Maybe in a few years I can add one to my garage.

if u asked me of higher mile oldies, I'll say buy and enjoy
u asked of low mile cars, too expensive for what they do
I love low milers
but I'm slowly learning
I bought a 138000 mile 964
far beyond perfect
but I think I have never had more fun in any Porsche
low mile stock boring and slow
high mile modded fun and carefree
bobaines
I love ur collection
looks like u actually drove them!
that's rare now days

I couldn't agree more. Cars are becoming over tired. But then again, most people don't even turn off the traction and stability software on the road.
On the street I have more grip than fun. Luckily in rains a lot in Vancouver.
