Give him some time. Maybe he got super busy. I know it happens to me once in a while.

If you click on his [heycary] profile there is a message complaining about his missing shipping costs for another transaction...

Wow... I'm checking profiles now. Stiffed that guy for bumper shipping?!?!?! That is probably $200 more than my $10 .

Hey Cary is a Newport BEach local. Probably a GMG guy also.

Easy, just boycott Heycary.

Is that a RD400 in your pic?

I had a RZ350 when I was 16. It was crazy fast, didn't have electric start and would smoke almost anything to 80mph.

Right around there, $220, but we had agreed on $150 to be paid and I would cover the difference. Also, didn't pick it up from FedEx and was getting calls that my account was liable for storage charges because it wasn't being picked up from the terminal. The whole premise was it needed to get there asap and he would reimburse for shipping.

I can say, this is only one experience that was less than desirable. Most everyone Ive dealt with has been great in the context of communication, and working through things if it doesn't always pan out.

same. and my 89 too. for cars, though, i'm just not a long distance car buyer in most cases, need to feel and touch. parts, bought a **** S H I T load (WTF is up with the filtering?). but even like buying local retail, sometimes stuff gets messed up. in the end, i'm way ahead here. only had one bumpy transaction with that a-hole eddie.

That is a 1979 Daytona Special. I've also got a 1978 Silver and gray, fully built by Gary Shumake, DG swingarm, etc.......

However, all those are in the shed and the only bike that resides in the garage is this 1985 Yamaha RZ350. Original 5,000 mile example show winner. I only drive it through Angelus Crest once in a blue moon. Body work was changed from the Kenny Roberts yellow and black to the Red White and blue. I was never a fan of the RWB colors until I saw it on a black framed (normally on a red frame) bike.

I am the 3rd owner. The first owner put 20 miles on it in 20 years. The second owner tagged 5,000 on it and I'm responsible for about 400 miles so far.

The bike has John Lassek's chambers which you can't get anymore. emulators in the front forks, Fox float in the rear, and everything on the bike is changed out annually, tires and rubber, to keep the bike in showroom condition. It's a flawless example of the past. I love it. Very similar to a GT3 in terms of motor responsiveness and redline.

Apologies for taking this thread off topic. Not many folks take notice of these 2 strokes.

That was you? Sorry to hear about that.

Members: I purchased twice from Red. Both transactions and the communications were great.

Ha!! My bike looked just like that, but with a red frame. I always wanted the yellow and black. I rode YZ's as a kid, so that was Yamaha to me.

Great looking bike, and I would love to have that bike again. Thank you for sharing !!
