Speed Ventures @ COTA (April 29 - May 1)
Speed Ventures is heading out to COTA again this year (see link below). I did the MVP event back in late Feb and the weather sucked (cold and rainy). Weather should be much better in late April/early May. Hope some of the RL crowd will make it out.

Did you drive out there? Or trailer it out there?

General price range for that?
How did the other logistics work out? You fly there and then rent a car?

$1/mile roughly per car.
I flew out (points baby!)
Hotel near airport (points baby!)
Rental car (POINTS AGAIN BABY!)
Not a cheap trip, but I travel a lot for work so the 'free' travel helped the sting.
Yes, the weather was crap, but it was damn fun and I want to go back.

Yikes...so the track time is pretty much the same cost as the trailer there?
Damn...

We paid about $2,500 roundtrip each for transport and a wrench that helped us at the track. Well worth it.

I am in phoenix and would like to go if the logistics of shipping the car work out. For those of you thinking of arranging a transport from sourthern (or even northern) california, please keep me in mind to share the costs of shipping.

COTA is not for the $ timid, especially coming from out of town.
But SO worth the trip.

There's an Edge Addicts event Nov 1 if you can't wait. It's only a 1 day though. I'll be there instructing.
