I'm almost tempted to sign up for the MVP event so I can get a double helping of the Texas meat candy.

How about a turn around trip to austin, fly out early AM, eat BBQ lunch, take a nap, bbq dinner, fly home. Take a day or 2 off for meat coma recovery. i know these SwA points are good for something...!!!!

Props definitely go to USC on getting that bbq brought to the track, not once but two days in a row..... The afternoon sessions were a lot less intense with a number of drivers trying to fight through the bbq. I don't recall the woman's name that you hired to bring the food, but I remember it was rabbit something or something rabbit.... Do you still have her contact info? We are going to the track next weekend and I will be tired of turkey;-)

Hey guys, first time post here. Don't think I can PM yet.

Planning to attend COTA 2016 with SV and I chanced upon this old post.

How was the transport from LA to COTA? Was it safe? Closed trailer I reckon? How's the drop off/pick off convenience at LA and Austin?

Thank you!
