Default Pagid RSC1 on PCCB. Does this look normal?

they have 2 tracks days on them. tons of thickness there still. Squealing like crazy with street driving too.

Rotors look good. 33K miles.

my advice, do not put those pads anywhere near your PCCB again... unless you want the risk of rotor damage or worse when/if those pads disintegrate on you.

Not normal. Did you bed these RSC-1's in per Pagid recommendations?

I forwarded your pic to Pagid and they don't see any cause for concern. Pagid utilizes a pad retention system so you should be good to go.

And I'm not even a customer! Thank you very much.

I should say that my retailer also told me that the pad condition was normal and that he uses the same pads and his look like that too.

I guess I am good to go.

I have and use those same pads on my PCCB... Excellent pads for track... Horrible pads to drive down the street and fill up on Gas or anything for that matter... They squeak louder than any Garbage truck, Bus, Tractor, etc... Probably get an extra set of OEM pads and switch out for track day etc... Don't drive on street much but these make it almost impossible.. Yes, I have tried the Red Break quiet stuff... you name it I have tried... The only way to stop them from squeaking is to use full brake pressure.... Heat them up and you are GTG.. Try doing that a couple of times from light to light... Probably get the car impounded... LOL..

Agreed on squeal but not my main concern right now. Have you pads ever looked like the picture? It would be nice to get another data point that this is normal (unless it isn't).

I think if Pagid say its ok its ok ... but it doesn't look great to me... given the cost of PCCB replacement, I'd be tempted to err on the side of new pads rather than new PCCBs...

I almost want to say yes. Have had two sets of RSCs and both fronts and rears have shown accelerated wear. Not fair to associate cause-and-effect quite yet, but it's certainly something on my mind.

Quick Reply: Pagid RSC1 on PCCB. Does this look normal?
