Default Rear seal fix

just picked my GT3 up from Porsche dealership

Main seal is getting done.....funny thing is they told me it had factory exhaust.
I went out and purchased sharkwerks muff delete and tips while it was being transported.

Crazy stuff..........oh well somebody got a smoking deal on a muff delete and tips last week LOL

was your RMS leaking or are you doing preventative maintenance work to freshen everything up?

my 997.2 GT3 is going in for pinning, RMS, water pump, etc this weekend.

edit: i have that same "stock" exhaust.

ah. guess i'll find out how mine is doing early next week once it's up on the lift.

you doing anything else while they're in there? water pump and thermostat seem to be two items that get mentioned a lot. and doing all the coolant pipe related stuff too.

Might as well add a throw out bearing while everything's out.

^ yep. throw out bearing and clutch fork needle bearing are on my list of things to check too. this is likely gonna be the biggest maintenance bill i've ever had on a car. and nothing is actually "broken"!!!
